Investing in Support Services for the Most Vulnerable in Hawaii

Low income, children and the most vulnerable in our society are the most vulnerable during an economic recession. Their needs are rising just as government revenues are falling. The 2009 Stimulus plan provides Hawaii with more than $130 million to help meet the food, shelter, and health care needs of those who are feeling the effects of the recession most severely.
