U.S. SENATOR DANIEL K. INOUYE AND FAMILY TAKE TROLLEY RIDE THROUGHOUT TOWN WITH OTHER DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 31
Huge Rally Stop with Local War Hero Tammy Duckworth at Blaisdell Park in Pearl City
HONOLULU – A brass band will accompany U.S. Senator Daniel K. Inouye, State Senator Colleen Hanabusa for Congress, Neil Abercrombie for Governor and Brian Schatz for Lt. Governor on a trolley tour to meet and greet the voters. Special guest and local war hero, Tammy Duckworth, Assistant Secretary for Public & Intergovernmental Affairs in the Federal Department of Veteran Affairs, will be riding the trolley with the candidates. Also joining Senator Inouye will be his family, including his baby granddaughter.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 31 – 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Oahu Trolley Tour
From Honolulu to Manoa to Pearl City to Kalihi
11:30 a.m. – Unity Rally at Blaisdell Park (98-319 Kamehameha Hwy.)
You’ll hear us before you see us! The trolley will depart in Honolulu then travel to Manoa, Pearl City and Kalihi. Meet up with the candidates at Blaisdell Park at 11:30 a.m. The campaign rally will be emceed by former Mayor Mufi Hannemann. Free hot dogs, refreshments and music will highlight the park event. The trolley ride will have a big finale when Neil Abercrombie is dropped off for his rally at Kalihi Waena School at 1 p.m.
